CNC Lathe Operator

Santee, California

Computer Integrated Machining has an opportunity for a full time CNC lathe operator. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a company that provides high precision machining. The position will expose the operator to the day-to-day operations of a machine shop. Computer Integrated Machining provides CNC Milling, Additive Manufacturing, CNC Turning, Electrical Discharge Machining, Certified Welding, Water Cutting, Fixturing & Production Assembly.

Production Planner

Santee, California

The Planner will coordinate with the Sales & Production departments to build routing steps for manufactured parts. The Planner will also be responsible for creating purchase orders for material & outside processing vendors. They must also maintain a professional and positive attitude and focus on good customer service with our customers and suppliers

Deburr/Assembly I

Santee, California

  • Knowledge of hand deburr tools, air tools and grinders.

  • Knowledge of pressing pins and installing thread inserts.

  • Ability to read blueprints.

  • Ability to complete paperwork.

  • Measure parts in order to ensure conformance to specifications using precision instruments.

  • Follows inspection procedure for each inspection.

  • Follows all procedures such as signing off each step on the router.

Machine Operator

Santee, California

  • Critical Thinking -- Uses logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems.

  • Time Management -- Managing one's own time to maximize production of parts.

  • Selective Attention -- The ability to concentrate on a task over a long period of time without being distracted.

  • Assist in keeping all machines running at or close to 100%.

  • Assist in facility maintenance and helping to keep shop clean.

  • Perform machine maintenance on all machines. (Training available)

  • Contribute to a team environment.

  • Think outside the box; assist in taking the company to the next level.

  • Work within all policies and procedures of the company. (Internal procedures, AS9100 requirements, etc.)

Machinist III

Santee, California

  • Set up and operate a variety of machine tools to produce precision parts, fabricate & modify to print. Knowledge of shop mathematics, metal properties, and machining procedures. Calculate dimensions and tolerances using knowledge of mathematics.

  • Measure parts in order to ensure conformance to specifications using precision instruments.  Has the ability to troubleshoot and come up with quick fixes.

  • Set up, adjust and operate all of the basic machine tools and many specialized/advanced variation tools in order to perform precision machining operations.

  • Ability to monitor the feed and speed of machines during machining process. Make fixtures, tooling to meet engineering needs.

  • Must have leadership qualities and be able to train other employees.

  • Must be able to multi-task and help other machinists when needed.

  • Programming skills is a big plus. (Feature Cam, Mastercam)

  • Works closely with shift managers to maximize workflow.

  • Verify first article at each operation.

  • Follows inspection procedure for each inspection.

  • Follows all procedures such as signing off each step on the router.

Quality Control Inspector I

Santee, California

  • Set up and operate a variety of CMM machine and inspection tools to ensure quality parts are being fabricated. Knowledge of shop mathematics, metal properties, and machining procedures. Calculate dimensions and tolerances using knowledge of mathematics. 

  • Basic knowledge of inspection equipment (Caliper, Micrometer, Height gage).

  • Programming skills is a big plus but is not required. (CMM PC-DMIS software, Manual Brown and Sharpe CMM) 

  • Works closely with shift managers to maximize workflow. 

  • Ensure Final Inspection, Outsourced and In-process parts are manufactured to Customer PO and print. 

  • Completes Shipping Inspection (Review all paperwork being sent to customer is completed, ensures customers Q-Clauses and PO requirements are being followed, ect.)

  • Follows inspection procedure for each inspection. 

  • Follows all procedures such as signing off each step on the router.

  • Keeping up with calibration log and calibrating employees’ and CIM inspection equipment. 

  • Generating RMA, NCR and CAR with an ERP system (E2 Shoptech). Knowledge of software not required, will train.
